Fierce Earth finds new home

After 10 years at the Big Peg Fierce Earth have found a new home. You’ll still find us in Birminghams’ Jewellery Quarter, but we have made the short move around the corner to a new office in Caroline Street.

Fierce Earth have found a great new space with cozy offices and a great meeting and events room. It follows our decision to have a new strategic focus on training and consultancy for the creative sector and developing creative talent.

Our former sister company Fierce Festival, under the leadership of Laura and Harun, now operate as an independent entity. Check www.wearefierce.org for contact details and news of their plans leading to the new iteration of the Fierce Festival as shaped by their vision in February 2011.

As we write this, surrounded by cardboard boxes, the accumulation of a decade of festivals, events and ‘happenings’, we are looking forward to a new chapter of stimulating activity that continues to put the city and the region on the map. We want to transform the image and reputation of the region and truly reflect the wealth of talent that resides here.

We’ll keep you informed of new developments. The future will increasingly be about working internationally and equipping others to do the same, in continuing to transform creative businesses with our training and working strategically with partners to spot opportunities and develop creativity. Once we have settled in to our new surroundings we’ll be hosting some networking and training events that will reflect these themes and we will be delighted to welcome you at the Zoo!
