Arts in a cold climate: Should we all jump in to bed together?

Birmingham Arts Partnership are holding an event to explore collaboration across the cities arts organisations on Monday 29th November. Entitled “Arts in a cold climate: Should we all jump in to bed together?” it is being held at the Birmingham Hippodrome Pinsent Masons Suite from 12 to 2 o’clock.

Huddle for warmth

Funding bodies are signalling that collaborative working across the arts will be a key to all our futures. This event will explore the possibilities for closer working to improve efficiency and enhance creativity. Is collaboration the answer? Please join us to discuss current initiatives and future possibilities.

The agenda is as follows;

Arrival; working lunch (12pm arrival)

Presentations on current initiatives:
Music Hub: CBSO / THSH / BCMG / Bham Jazz – Stephen Maddock
Mac Hub: mac and Sampad – Dorothy Wilson / Piali Ray
Dance Hub: Birmingham Hippodrome / DX / BRB – Stuart Griffiths
Collaborative Marketing – Rob MacPherson / Tim Manson

Discussion on future potential (end 2pm) All

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The event will be open to Arts Organisations across Birmingham, Arts Council representatives and Arts Team at the City Council.
